The content of Tecnología y ciencias del agua is interdisciplinary and is integrated with unpublished articles and notes related to water, derived from research, that provide original scientific and technological contributions or innovations, and that are developed within the field of knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, water management and water quality, as well as social sciences, among other disciplines.

Characteristics of a quality review

Promptly

Respond to the invitation to the review within seven working days.

Deliver the opinion within 21 working days.

Courtesy

Observations should be concrete and written in polite terms.

Clarity

The opinion must be clear and concise.

Objectivity

Value judgments should be avoided, and focus on the quality and contributions of the work. If the reviewer considers that he/she has any kind of conflict of interest or conflicting interests (personal, financial, intellectual, professional, political, or religious), he/she should decline the invitation.

Usefulness to the author

The observations should be precise and substantive, in such a way as to enrich the document when modifications are requested.
