Abstract

The importance of the synthetic monthly streamflows is emphasized as the base for the hydrological design of reservoirs. The general model of synthetic simulation is described, first in its conceptual framework, also according to the mathematical formulation and finally in its aspects of application and regional generalization. The available hydrometric information in the Hydrological Region number 37 how it was statistically processed and the calculated logarithm statistics parameters are presented. The contrast carried out to the generalized model is quoted. Finally, several conclusions are formulated about the analyses done.
