Abstract

The general conditions of the critical state in curved-bed channels are shown in the previous paper ‘Critical flow over trapezoidal curved-bed channels” (Hydraulic engineering in Mexico, vol XIX, no.1,  January-March, 2002, pp 27-40) from the same author, where the results obtained for the  trapezoidal channels are shown too This paper shows similar results for circular curved-bed channels, with applications in outlet tunnels
