Abstract

This paper presents the results of a study using cross correlation statistical analysis between the annual inflows to three reservoirs in Northwestern Mexico and the mean annual number of sunspots and shows that both variables, one astronomical and the other hydrological, are related. The analysis only worked at the individual scale, it has not been possible to establish a regional relationship between both variables.
