Estimación de hidrogramas anuales estacionales en cuencas sin aforos
Keywords:
diversion dams, seasonal IiydrographsAbstract
This article sets out to describe where diversion dams of flashing waters are necessary, whose hydrologic calculations for design are the annual hydrographs, which allow to estimate the feasible runoff volumes to be derived each year. Next, the limitations of the proposed procedure are defined and a detailed exposure is addressed through the estimations that integrate the procedure, wliich are calculation of the physical watershed parameters, tlie probabilistic processing of rain in order to build tlie monthly precipitation-duration cuwes, and finally, the rainfall-runoff transformation. The analysis of the watershed includes the area estimation, the concentration time and the number of the runoff curve. On the other hand, tlie precipitation analysis depends on the number of available pluviographic and/or pluviometric stations. On the iwo applications described, intensity data were not available; tlierefore, the intensity-duration-frequency curves were built based on an empirical formula. The estimation of the annual hydrographs is carried out through the triangular unit hydrograph, verifying the peak flows with applicable hydrologic metliods. Lastly. several conclusions are drawn, which point out to the theoretical bases of the procedure and tlie accuracy of tlie results.
